Interactive Visualisation of Complex Genomic Data With 3D Game Engine
These days medical data are rolling like a snowball from the top of the mountain. Data scientists, data analysts, data visual analysts, and medical experts stand on the wayside in both directions working out to take apart from the mega snowball to study and analyses it. The research gap summarised four empowering aspects that require investigation: interaction, scalability, useability and Artistry. The research designed a methodology that considers these aspects fundamental to implementing visualisation tools to cope with medical data. The research contributes a more effective visualization tool using a 3D game engine with an innovative research methodology. The proposed approach helps explore and deliver more suitable visualisation methods to non-specialists unfamiliar with 3D gaming environments. We aim to open the door for a new novel in visualising medical data via the Game platform. The research validates the impact of these two factors in a usability study, The usability study aims to collect participants feedback on the effectiveness of these two factors in order to visualise genomic data in the 3D game engine.
